How do I find service providers?
Plan Management Partners has an extensive database of service providers. We can make some suggestions based on your needs and your goals. We’re not a service provider so we’ll only put up options that we think are right for you.
What if I already have service providers I want to use?
That’s no problem. We have a simple sign up process for providers and we have arrangements in place that allow us to work with just about any provider. We are only constrained by the law and by what the NDIA deems as “reasonable and necessary”.
How do I get started with my providers?
Most providers will have a good process for setting up your service agreements and getting you started but we’ll be there to help you with this if needed. If you need a lot of help, the NDIA may provide additional funding in your plan for “Service Intermediary” or “Coordination of Supports”. Plan Management Partners can also provide you with these services.
How do my service providers get paid?
Plan Management Partners will arrange all payments to the providers you choose. Once you let us know what arrangements you’ve made we’ll take care of the rest. You don’t need to pay for any of your NDIS supports yourself – in fact it’s better if you leave it all to us!
What if I want to change my provider?
That’s no problem. There may be some rules to follow but we’ll help you through that and can also help you choose a new provider if needed.
How do I know how much is left in my plan?
We’ll keep you informed about how much you’ve spent and what supports you have left on your plan.
What happens if I use all the funds in my plan before the end of the funding period?
Plan Management Partners will set up a schedule to plan and track your funds usage across the funding period. By doing this and keeping you informed of your balances you should be able to avoid this problem.
When is my plan reviewed?
That is up to the NDIA but it should be stated on your plan. Prior to your review date we can provide you with information on your plan usage to help you prepare.
