What is your role with Plan Partners?
I’m a the Customer Service Team Leader. My main responsibilities are to ensure a smooth and stress-free sign-up process for all our customers and service providers as well as providing support to the Customer Service Team with enquiries and training. I also ensure our team is answering calls and emails as quickly as we can.
What did you do before Plan Partners?
Before Plan Partners I worked at Maxxia, a large novated leasing and salary packaging company. As soon as I heard about Plan Partners and the great work they did, I knew I had to become involved and – in whatever small way – help make a difference in people’s lives.
What has been your favourite Plan Partners moment?
I recently had the honour of representing Plan Partners at the Melbourne Disability Expo. We hardly had to promote ourselves, as many people had already heard of us and were coming up to our stand to find out more or just have a chat. What really struck me about the entire event was that everyone there, including other service providers, were coming together to collaborate on innovative ways the sector could improve – I really felt I was part of an exciting movement.
What drives you?
I find it a real privilege that I’m able to use and further develop my skills and expertise to help people through their NDIS experience. I think my ability to remain calm, focus on the details, and work through things logically really fits the role and every day I wake up excited for whatever’s ahead.
What advice would you give someone starting their NDIS journey?
The NDIS can be quite complex at times, but there is no need to be afraid of it. Don’t hesitate to reach out for support and give us a call – our team is ready to help you get the most out of your NDIS journey!
