NDIS provider spotlight: Ancora National

Local, professional disability support

At Plan Partners, we’re proud to work alongside incredible NDIS providers who are working hard to make a positive impact in the lives of participants every day.

Today, we shine a light on Vashek David, Founder and Director of Ancora National.

David, tell us about Ancora National

At Ancora National, we’re passionate about delivering high quality, individualised, and flexible support services.

My inspiration for starting this company was from my own journey. Growing up, I faced many challenges breaking into the workforce. I was rejected many times and constantly got told that I didn’t have the experience or the right skills.

But through persistence, resilience, and refusing to give up, I eventually secured some great opportunities that helped me build strong skills, confidence, and valuable life experience.

Having lived through that struggle, I wanted to create a service that could replicate that journey of growth for other people especially for people who simply just need the right support, encouragement, and someone to believe in them. Which is how Ancora National was born.

Our team is committed to working closely with our participants, focusing on building confidence, courage, and capability, and helping them work towards meaningful and sustainable employment. We provide one-on-one personalised support, ensuring every individual receives genuine care, attention to detail, and a service tailored to their unique goals.

At Ancora National, we don’t just help people find jobs, we help them build futures.

What sort of services do you offer?

We provide a range of personalised supports designed to build confidence, independence, and meaningful pathways into employment.

Community Participation

This is one of our most valued services because it allows us to truly get to know each individual we support. Through real conversations and shared experiences in the community, we help people build confidence, social skills, and independence. Whether it is taking part in local activities or exploring new environments, community participation becomes a great way for individuals to grow personally and socially.

Employment Support

We offer practical, hands-on support for people working toward employment. This includes:

School Leaver Employment Supports (SLES)

This service supports young people finishing Year 11 or 12 who want extra guidance as they transition into the workforce. Through SLES, participants learn:

The aim is for each young person to finish the program with a clear career pathway and real experience that sets them up for success.

Capacity Building Supports

These supports help the individual develop the everyday life skills needed to feel confident and independent. This includes:

Every support is customised to the individual’s needs, ensuring they get meaningful progress in the areas that matter most to them.

Why do people come to you for help?

People come to Ancora National because they see real results, real stories, and real commitment.

Many reach out after hearing about our success stories, especially those we proudly share on our social media. We believe in celebrating the wins of our participants, not just to acknowledge their hard work, but to inspire others who are looking for the same kind of support. When people see genuine progress and real life transformations, it gives people confidence that they can achieve the same.

Others come to us because we truly stand by our word. Everything we do is tailored to the individual and their goals, their strengths, and their personal journey. We don’t work on one size‑fits all approach we make sure we take the time to understand each person and provide the support that aligns with what they want to achieve.

Most importantly, people choose Ancora National because we have earned a reputation as a trustworthy and reliable service. Our community sees the authenticity behind our work. When they witness real stories of what we have already helped people accomplish, it builds trust and that trust becomes the foundation for meaningful support.

At Ancora National, people know they are not just getting a service, they are getting a team that genuinely cares, believes in them, and walks the journey with them.

What's the goal or overall aspiration you have for your customers?

Our biggest goal at Ancora National is simple:

A big part of what we believe in is this:

How important is a tailored approach in your work?

A tailored approach is essential in everything we do at Ancora National. Every person we support has their own goals, strengths, challenges, and pace and we believe that real progress only happens when the support matches the individual.

When we personalise our approach to what each participant truly needs, the results are genuine and long lasting. Tailoring support creates a clear, specific pathway that makes success achievable, rather than overwhelming. It means we are not just providing generic help, we are providing the right help, in the right way, at the right time.

What’s something that people should know about your services that most people don’t know?

Many people don’t realise just how much happens behind the scenes to make our support truly meaningful. Our services are not just about ticking boxes or running standard programs, everything we do is intentional, and designed to create real outcomes.

Most people are surprised to learn that we spend a lot of time understanding each individual’s background, goals, motivators, and challenges before we even start working on a plan. This means the support they receive is not just tailored, it’s thoughtful.

Another thing people don’t always know how flexible and adaptable our services are. We understand that life changes, goals change, and confidence grows over time. So our approach grows with the person. If someone needs more time, we adjust. If they are ready to push forward, we support that momentum.

Finally, something really special about our services is that we are heavily focused on building long term independence, not just short term results. We help people develop skills they can carry for life, confidence, resilience, real world experience, and a clear sense of their own potential.

In short:

What advice would you have for someone wanting more information?

My biggest advice is simple, just ask.

If you ever have a question, and are unsure about something, or want to understand more, please reach out. At Ancora National, we believe that communication is key.

Often, the only thing that stops someone from moving forward is leaving questions unasked. When things are unclear or left unsaid, it can create barriers that don’t need to be there. We don’t want anyone to feel stuck or unsure.

We always encourage people to speak up, ask anything, and get the clarity they need because the truth is:
