Recurring Supports
Recurring supports are specifically designed for ongoing assistance that are regularly paid by the NDIA, removing the need for you to make a claim for these essential supports.
Currently Recurring supports only has one category.
Transport Recurring
Transport supports paid by us on a regular basis to your nominated bank account. You don’t need to make a claim for these supports.
This funding is for your everyday transport needs. You can use it on the form of transport that suits you best, including public transport or taxis.

Core
Core supports are basic things you need to live your daily life. This funding is quite flexible, so you can move your budget from one Core Support category to another.
Capital
This funding type is for more significant, ‘one off’ items that you need to support you in your daily life. These supports are not flexible, so you can’t move budget from one category to another.
Capacity building
This funding type supports you in building skills to become more independent. These supports are not flexible, – you have to spend it on the agreed services.
