<p><strong>[00:00:00]</strong> Hi everyone, welcome back to My NDIS Journey — the first episode of the year!</p>
<p><strong>[00:00:05]</strong> We’re kicking off the year with something a little different. Something adventurous.</p>
<p><strong>[00:00:10]</strong> We went indoor skydiving!</p>
<p><strong>[00:00:26]</strong> It was absolutely amazing to be given this opportunity.</p>
<p><strong>[00:00:28]</strong> 2020 is going to be a massive year.</p>
<p><strong>[00:00:34]</strong> On the cards: moving out of home, getting my own place — my own unit.</p>
<p><strong>[00:00:39]</strong> I’ll also be travelling to Italy later in the year.</p>
<p><strong>[00:00:44]</strong> And I’m starting a new role at work — working in an office.</p>
<p><strong>[00:00:47]</strong> That might sound ordinary to some, but for me, it’s a huge milestone.</p>
<p><strong>[00:00:54]</strong> So 2020 is going to be busy — but incredibly rewarding.</p>
<p><strong>[00:00:58]</strong> And it’s the NDIS that has helped put me on this path.</p>
<p><strong>[00:01:02]</strong> Here we go — action stations. It’s go time.</p>
<p><strong>[00:01:14]</strong> This was the moment I thought, “What have I gotten myself into?”</p>
<p><strong>[00:01:26]</strong> The great thing about support coordinators — and organisations like Plan Partners — is that they connect you with a wide range of providers.</p>
<p><strong>[00:01:34]</strong> Through Plan Partners, I was introduced to iFLY, which gave me the opportunity to try indoor skydiving.</p>
<p><strong>[00:01:39]</strong> I absolutely loved it.</p>
<p><strong>[00:01:42]</strong> It’s through building those relationships that experiences like this become possible.</p>
<p><strong>[00:01:49]</strong> There was definitely a moment where I thought, “Well, this is how it ends!”</p>
<p><strong>[00:01:54]</strong> But in all seriousness, it was incredible to feel that freedom.</p>
<p><strong>[00:02:01]</strong> You might notice my leg kicking around — I don’t have much control over that. It just does its own thing!</p>
<p><strong>[00:02:08]</strong> But that’s part of the journey.</p>
<p><strong>[00:02:14]</strong> And just like that — safely back out.</p>
