How to endorse a plan manager when you have an NDIS plan
If your NDIS plan is on PACE (the NDIA’s new computer system) then there's a new way of choosing a plan manager that you need to know about.
You must now endorse your chosen plan manager, which is just a fancy way of saying that you need to tell the NDIA who you are choosing to manage your plan.
Don’t worry, it’s a simple process and we’ve got a full guide to endorsing Plan Partners to help you!
Important tips before you start
Whichever endorsing option you choose, make sure to follow these tips:
-
Make sure to endorse Plan Partners as plan manager (not plan provider).
-
Make sure to use the start date of your current plan as the start date of your endorsement (this will allow us to process any invoices from within your plan).
-
Have the person on the phone confirm that the endorsement is complete (the process should be instant).

What to say when endorsing Plan Partners
We’ve got some example scripting below to give you can idea of how to approach the conversation.
Hi,
I am calling to endorse a plan manager for my current plan.
I’m a [participant/plan nominee] and my NDIS number is [your NDIS number].
I believe my plan is on the PACE system, so I would like to endorse Plan Partners as my plan manager for my NDIS plan. Plan Partners registration number is 4050002983.
Please endorse Plan Partners from [plan start date], which is the start date of my current plan.
Can I just confirm with you that the endorsement is complete?
Once the endorsement is confirmed we are good to go!
What if I’m already with Plan Partners and I’m starting a new plan? Will I need to endorse?
Your NDIS contact will call you before your plan’s end date to discuss your situation and yes, you will need to advise that you would like to endorse Plan Partners as your plan manager.
Make sure to tell your NDIS contact that you would like to endorse Plan Partners as your ongoing plan manager.
Important information for support coordinators
Endorsement can only be done by the participant, their nominee, or their guardian. As a support coordinator, you cannot endorse providers on your participant's behalf.
If your participant would like to have their plan managed by a provider such as Plan Partners, they must now endorse them, which just means that they need to tell the NDIA who you are choosing to manage their plan.
